L’anni delle Olimpiadi sudcoreane tenutesi a Seul segna il lancio di uno dei modelli running di adidas più apprezzati dell’ultimo quarto di secolo: le Marathon 88 remixavano in una sintesi perfetta alcune delle più note icone del Trifoglio uscite nel corso degli Ottanta, a partire (naturalmente) dalle ZX 500 del 1984.
Adatte – com’è facile intuire dal nome – alla corsa su lunghe distanze, le adidas Marathon 88 vengono riproposte nel corso di questa nuova estate olimpica in diverse colorazioni tutte azzeccatissime, fra le quali spicca quella in bianco, grigio e rosso “core-energy”.

The year of the Olympics that took place in Seul, South Korea marks the launching of one of the most appreciated running models by adidas of the latest quarter century; the Marathon 88 were designed to blend into a perfect synthesis some of the best known icons released by the Trefoil during the Eighties – to begin with the ZX 500 dating back to 1984.
Very practical – as their name suggests – for long distance runners, the adidas Marathon 88 are now re-released for the incoming new Olympic Games in various colorways: if all of them hit the mark, a special prize may go to the white, grey and core-energy red.
