Così per festeggiare trent’anni di produzione negli stabilimenti di Flimby (Cumbria, Inghilterra nord-occidentale) New Balance ha scelto, semplicemente, tre impiegati. O meglio: tre operai altamente specializzati, tre artigiani che da trent’anni mettono la loro abilità manuale al servizio del marchio americano.
Andy Mandle, Roy Bell, Billy Edgar: a ognuno di loro è stata dedicata una versione speciale – tiratura limitata, of course – di un classico del running di casa, le 576. Tre sneakers caratterizzate dai dettagli custom e dall’utilizzo di pellami di alta qualità per la costruzione della tomaia: pelle pieno fiore, suede e nubuck.

Which is why to celebrate their thirty years of production in the factories of Flimby (Cumbria, north-western England) New Balance has chosen three employees, quite simply. Or to be honest, three highly specialized one, three craftsmen who for thirty years have been placing their manual ability in the service of the American brand.
Andy Mandle, Roy Bell, and Billy Edgar: each of them was dedicated a special version – always on a limited edition – of a classic for running of the brand, the 576. Three sneakers characterized by custom details and the use of hi-quality leather for the construction of the upper: full-grain leather, suede, and nubuck.
