Lo scorso inverno abbiamo raccontato la prima fase della collaborazione tra Stone Island e Diemme, azienda di Bassano del Grappa da sempre specializzata nella produzione di calzature outdoor. Due brand storici dell’industria italiana, insieme per percorrere strade nuove. Il successo del Roccia Boot prodotto la scorsa stagione ha aperto la strada a una collezione-capsula estiva che comprende tre modelli decisamente meno outdoor: silhouette classiche della tradizione sportiva americana vestite con i tessuti sviluppati dal reparto ricerca & sviluppo della casa di Ravarino, a partire dal Raso Gommato, il cotone impermeabilizzato ideato da Massimo Osti nel lontano 1983.
Low Boat: tomaia in Raso Gommato Double foderata in spugna e rinforzata con fasce di gomma bianca. Soletta interna in lattice. Suola Deck in gomma con il logo della Rosa dei Venti applicato a inserto.
High Boat: tomaia in canvas di cotone, foderata in spugna, con dettagli tono su tono applicati sull’allacciatura e sul calcagno. Collo imbottito. Punta rinforzata in gomma.
Hiking Boot: tomaia in Reps di nylon oleato con rinforzi nei punti sottoposti a maggiore stress. Collo e linguetta imbottiti. Interno in pelle, soletta in lattice.

Last winter we told you about the first phase of a collaboration between Stone Island and Diemme, a company from Bassano del Grappa that specializes from its beginning in the production of outdoor shoes. Two historical brands of the Italian industry join forces to cover fresh new routes. The success of the Roccia Boot released last year opened the way to a new summer capsule-collection that includes three models rather less outdoor: classic silhouettes of the American sport tradition are dressed with tissues developed by the R & D department of the company from Ravarino, like for example, Raso Gommato, the waterproof cotton designed by Massimo Osti in the far 1983.
Low Boat: upper in Raso Gommato Double sponge-lined and reinforced with white rubber stripes. Insole in latex. Deck sole in rubber with the Windrose logo inserted in.
High Boat: upper in cotton canvas, sponge-lined, with details “ton sur ton” applied to the lacing and the heel. Padded neck and a rubber reinforced tip.
Hiking Boot: Reps upper in self-lubricating nylon with reinforcements over the more stressed parts. Neck and tongue are both padded. Leather lining and latex insole.
